In the competition, the software was in a race against 2000 participants. Among these 2000 companies, big names like HCL and Zoho were also present. The main motive of this challenge was to create an India based video conferencing software that is secure, flexible, and is compatible with the Indian market.

Sarv WAVE with its team of brilliant minds came up with Sarv WAVE and filled it with all the essential and new, creative cutting edge solutions. So what are the things that are making Sarv WAVE better than others? Before going into direct comparison, let’s look at the features first, closely.

Low Internet Usage:

As the lockdown and pandemic became effective, people started consuming the internet a lot to keep themselves entertained. That means now the daily limit of the Internet is not enough for everyone, that they can use for both work and self. This led us to this feature. Sarv WAVE can run on the low speed/ internet bandwidth of 128kbps without compromising the quality of the conference. With this, at the end of a meeting, WAVE consumes 55% less data than other software.

Made In India:

From code to data storage centers, everything in WAVE originates from India. Sarv’s IT department worked on the application from scratch. This method may not be a quick one but sure has delivered the quality that every industry is seeking in video conferencing solutions. Sarv made their software like this so that never a single bit of data has to travel out of India. WhatsApp Integration:

What is the quickest and reliable way of sending notification or alerts today? That is Whatsapp message and text messaging. WAVE integrated itself with both. So like whenever I am invited to a meeting, I will receive a text message and a WhatsApp message with all the details of that meeting. Also, just before 15 minutes of the meeting, I will receive another message with all the meeting details on both platforms as a reminder. This way one can not miss his/ her meeting.

Whiteboard Without Screen Share:

Meetings have a basic one need and that is a presentation and a sketchable screen. In order to achieve that other platforms have made Whiteboard but it only works if the host or presenter shares their screen with others. WAVE saw this limitation and made a stand-alone whiteboard that works without sharing with others. Yes, that means, one can share the screen and use the whiteboard for presentation simultaneously. This lets its users more efficiently and effectively.

Breakout Room:

During video conferencing, if a group of participants needs to discuss something without disturbing others then this feature can come handy. The breakout room allows the host to create a separate channel of a meeting where it can send some people for discussion without even disconnecting them from the meeting. The Breakout room is assigned for a limited time period and it can be dismissed by the host before time.

Simultaneous Live Streaming:

Streaming your meeting live on other online video sharing platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and others. But it is available on all platforms, right? No, it is not. This feature is only available on WAVE and as the host makes meetings live on other platforms, you do not have to abandon the meeting. That’s right, WAVE allows its users to stream live while keeping the conference running.
