Other examples of transactional emails are: welcome message, account information, order or purchase status, payment confirmation, invoices etc. Transactional emails have high click through rate (CTR) & subscribers actively engaged with these emails.

4. Notification Email

Notification emails (also called alert or auto-responder) are sent to notify the users or subscribers when an event is happened. To build interest & encourage participation, you can create email which includes your previous popular events. These email include invitations, alerts, reminders & thank you message (after the event).

5. Lead Nurturing Email

These emails helps you to get leads. A research indicates that lead nurturing emails generate an 8% CTR, which is more than regular email marketing CTR. You must send an email which educate subscribers. You should not be focus on sales, you should focus on how can your service solve customer’s problems.

You must send emails that contain invitation like subscribe to blog, connect on social media channels & other places. Because the more you & your subscribers or clients are connected, more are the chance of deal.

    Hi Pavan,

    The 5 email types you shared are vital to any business growth, and must be implemented at a pace that doesn’t look spammy or discourage subscribers to ignore your mails.

    Though, also from experience, a business may not need all the mentioned 5 types of email, due to company objectives and reasons for using email marketing to build engagements like I have seen in Neil patel quicksprout.

    He doesn’t send out promotional messages, maybe he does so to selective subscribers……thanks Pavan for sharing.
